Here are a few of my favourite photographs from the wedding of Gemma and Ross, which I photographed on Friday 20th April 2012 at St Matthew’s Church in Duffryn, Wales followed by a reception at Margam Orangery.
As a documentary wedding photographer based in the UK, you get use to dealing with all sorts of weather conditions, for most of the morning the rain did not stop, including some hail, fortunately it held off just enough for for the bride to enter the church and then shortly after the happy pair stepped out as a married couple the sun made an appearance. The Orangery is in the grounds of Margam Castle which Gemma and Ross were keen to ulitise for a couple of portraits, however the wind had different ideas and shelter was sought within the castle before joining their guests at the Orangery.
