On the 4th May 2019 I donned my hat as a Cotswold Wedding Photographer for wedding day of Sophie and Jon at Euridge Manor’s Lost Orangery. This was my third visit to this rather unique wedding venue and I seem to enjoy it a little more each time. In the morning the bride and her party where getting ready on site. Meanwhile the boys were a short distance away in one of the estates country cottages, sorting out ties, buttonholes and waistcoats. A group ‘single malt’ toast  was exchanged before the days formal duties began for the ushers and best-man. Once all of the guests were safely seated in the Orangery, Sophie was walked through the garden to make her grand entrance. An emotional ceremony was enjoyed, then the happy couple were then showered with confetti on the main lawn. Drink, canapés and string instrumented music were then provided through the gardens where everyone could enjoy the view of the boating lake and rolling hills. The food and drink was served by the highly recommended Wiltshire catering firm Eat Five Star. The wedding breakfast was served in the venues ballroom, before some wonderful speeches entertained the gathered friends and family. As the night drew approached, log fires were lit outside to provide warmth for the those enjoying the evening air. Though it was not too long before night time celebrations began with the happy couples first dance.
