The interesting thing about photographing a wedding on the coast of West Wales, is that if you do not like the weather, wait five minutes! On today, the 25th June 2022, the weather conditions seemed to change just about every five minutes, between blustery wind, down pouring rain and gorgeous warming sunshine. In the morning the bride was getting ready in one of the hotel suites at The Cliff Hotel, which benefits from amazing sea scape views. The groom also got ready for the day at the hotel, albeit a quick change into a suit, check hair in the mirror and then meet the boys in the bar for a drop of courage before the ceremony. This took place in the hotel’s private function room, with panoramic vista of the Ceredigion coastline. Once the nuptials were exchanged, the collected guests offered their congratulations to the newlyweds. With a brief respite from the precipitation, the bride and groom took their little dog for a walk across the lawn. Though this was cut short as the rain soon starting to fall again and the strong winds playing havoc with the veil. Though with did manage some cliff top portraits, as requested by the bride and groom a bit later in the day in between showers. Meanwhile the day followed ints natural flow with the wedding breakfast and speeches. Then as the evening approached, the band started to play and the dancing continued the celebrations.
“Thank you so so much for all of the photographs…..we absolutely love them! So pleased with all of the moments you have captured and the quality of the photographs. We couldn’t be happier and can’t thank you enough. We are just sitting down to try our best to narrow down favourites now!”
