The morning of Friday 8th August 2011 saw me travelling down the M4 to West Wales in heavy rain, the car’s windscreen wipers on at full speed, a setting which rarely gets used. Miraculously though the dark clouds eased revaling small fractions of blue sky and with frequent sunny intervals the grounds at Slebech Park dried quickly leaving only a few puddles as remnants of the rain.

Catrin and Glyn who currently live in Cardiff were the bride and groom today, they both got ready at Slebech Park, which also hosted the marriage ceremony and reception. Slebech Park commands a stunning position overlooking the Daucleddau Estuary. Although some 20 miles inland, there is still a 14ft tide at Slebech and the resulting mudflats and reed beds provide an ideal habitat to numerous animals which befits is staus as a ‘Special Area of Conservation’.

The whole gallery of wedding photographs will be made available here in the next coupe of days.
