On the 6th June 2015, I was commissioned to photograph the Cardiff City Hall wedding of Lowis and David. The bridal preparations took place at the bride’s parents home, after which I caught up with the groom at the pub opposite St Isaan’s Church in Llanishen, Cardiff where the marriage ceremony was performed.
The reception was hosted in the ornate Marble Hall at the Edwardian city hall, later in the evening the magnificent Assembly Room was utilised to accommodate the additional evening guests. Whilst this room was being prepared we made the most of the evening light and spent fives minutes in Alexandra Gardens just behind the hall.
It was nice to catch with a previous bride and groom, who are now proud parents, Lisa and Leighton whose wedding at the Royal College of Music and drama I photographed last year, in fact David was a best man at that wedding.
