Here are a few photographs from the wedding of Angharad and Anand who were married on a beautifully sunny Saturday the 30th July 2011, at the Old Palace Hall in the grounds of Hatfield House, Hertfordshire.
I have had some enquiries recently asking as a documentary wedding photographer if I would be happy to shoot formal group shots, the truth is at nearly all of my weddings there is a few family and friend groups to be accomplished, I have included an example in today’s blog post. The amount of group shots required is always at the discretion of my clients and whilst I prefer not to interrupt the flow of the day these photographs are very important for the bride and groom and worth taking a little time to organise organise. Mostly these groups can be completed in ten minutes or so and after a few portraits of the bride and groom to make the most out of the location and the available light I return to my role as a documentary wedding photographer, quietly capturing those fleeting moments that will construct a emotive photographic record of the wedding day.
